Enterprise Talent Fit
More than ever today individuals are seeking satisfaction from the organization they work for and fulfillment in the job they perform. Talent fit entails orientating an individual in their role and assimilating them in the workplace to enhance their performance and optimize their productivity. The following describes the three factors that define an individual’s talent fit:
Suitability | Indicates how adapt the individual is within the organization and how strongly the individual commits themselves to the organization. |
Capability | Indicates how well the individual performs in their role based on their prior experiences, competencies, intelligence level, and cognitive style. |
Compatibility | Indicates how well an individual connects with their cohorts in terms of their working relationships and social interactions. |
The following table summarizes an individual’s quality of fit within the workplace and the ability to perform that role. It correlates an individual’s basic needs to the workplace factors (organizational, job, and people) in order to identify their fit (suitability, capability, and compatibility) within the organization.
